While a lot of our work gets done behind closed doors, an integral part of our builds includes showing them off. Arguably our most famous build till date is the Porsche 356 La Carrera Panamericana racecar, which has seen great success (yes, I said that) on multiple iterations of the gruelling Mexican road race. The car wears its battle scars proudly, and on a recent outing to the AutoConduct show in EL Segundo, the guys from Cars & Coffee Stores spent a minute or two speaking to John about what it's like to build and support a car like this through a multi-day race.
The Pan-American highway is not only connecting the American continents from North to South, it was also the stage for the most dangerous race back in the 50's...The Carrera Panamericana. This border-to-border race in Mexico has been resurrected in 1988, where cars from different classes compete against each other.
